The women’s soccer team won 4-1 against Simmons University on Saturday, earning its first win in two games. The pink-clad Lasers showed their support for Breast Cancer Awareness in this match.
The Lasers’ veterans shined bright on Senior Day. Seniors Julia Vaillancourt, midfield, and Isabella Goral, defense, each collected one assist, while senior midfielder Emily DeHart scored the team’s first goal that paved the way to victory.

After the game, first-year forward Ollie Costa showed her appreciation for DeHart when asked about a senior who stuck out to her in this game.
“I would love to highlight Emily DeHart,” she said. “She has been such an unsung hero in so many games and her goal really helped push us to keep them coming!”
The Lasers, 7-4-3, face Anna Maria at home on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
