The women’s volleyball team swept the Regis College Pride 3-0, continuing its perfect record against Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponents.
The Lasers poured all their effort into offense throughout the match, with junior setter Sydney Katz’s serves earning 4 points in a row during the first set.
After the game, senior outside hitter McKenna McCool reflected on beating Regis for the second time in a row.
“Beating Regis set the tone for our entire season,” McCool said. “Last year, it was [Lasell] and Regis in the championship for the GNAC. So this lined up good things to come for this year.”

When asked how it felt to face Regis again, McCool recalled the team’s confidence heading into the match.
“I will say I was a little nervous coming into the gym because I haven’t seen anything of Regis,” McCool stated. “But after seeing what we could do and the confidence in our abilities, we were set.”
Next Thursday, the Lasers return home against Saint Joseph’s (Maine) at 7 p.m.
