Students advised to beware of phishing scams

Throughout the beginning of the semester, the community began receiving emails from a “lasell.edu” email address regarding part-time job opportunities, and another email stating that the receiver has a message from the HR Department. The Technology Help Desk and Campus Police has since sent numerous emails to the Lasell community with high importance stating that these emails were part of a phishing scam and to not click the links embedded within the emails. If you happen to share your information with the scammers, Campus Police is requesting you to contact them via phone.
